Pinnacle Telecom wins Top Business Award 2003
Welsh Telecoms company recognised by Toshiba for excellence in customer service and technical expertise
Pinnacle Telecom was rewarded with the ‘Partner of the Year 2004’ award at the Toshiba Business Communications Division (BCD) Partner Forum held in Coventry in October.

This award is given to the Toshiba BCD business partner who demonstrates a consistently high level of customer service and technical expertise and which has shown the greatest business growth over the year. Pinnacle Telecom, the Welsh telecoms specialist, beat off competition from companies from around the UK to win the prestigious award.

The Toshiba award is the latest win from the Pinnacle Group, which has also been named ‘Xerox Partner of the Year’ on two separate occasions and recently achieved 'Premier Partner' status. The company is unique in Wales, being the sole accredited partner for two large multinational companies.

Pinnacle has invested over £250,000 in a new Telecommunications Technical Centre. The centre will act as a base for its team of engineering staff, a remote call diagnostics centre, product test labs, assembly labs and a training facility for the technical staff.
“Toshiba BCD has had a very positive year in 2004 and our growth would not be possible without the dedication and excellence of our partners,” said Tim Webb, General Manager of Toshiba BCD. “We’ve been working with Pinnacle for more than seven years now and they consistently deliver a high level of customer service and technical expertise.”
“Throughout our partnership, our business has gone from strength to strength,” explains Dean Stewart, sales director at Pinnacle Telecom. “It’s wonderful to receive recognition from Toshiba for all the hard work our team has put into building a successful business.”

Toshiba Business Communications Division (TBCD) has rewarded its top performing dealers at a recent national conference. Pinnacle Telecom was named as Growth Partner of the Year. Sarah Pardoe, Marketing Manager for TBCD, said: “We have experienced record levels of growth with Strata CTX during the past year, and the development plans we unveiled for our partners mean this pattern of growth will continue.” Pictured left to right: Dean Stewart, sales director of the Pinnacle Telecom, and Tim Webb general manager of TBCD.

Five-Figure Investment for Leo Abse & Cohen

Telecommunications company - Pinnacle Telecom is playing a vital role in the expansion of one of Wales longest established law firms. St Mellons based Pinnacle has been awarded the contract to upgrade the telecommunications network of Leo Abse & Cohen to link the firm's Cardiff base with its recently opened office in Swansea.
Pinnacle is installing a Toshiba-based digital system to provide increased internal productivity for the offices as well as a 'seamless' facility to callers. The expanded system now comprises over 150 digital extensions and 30 ISDN channels with capacity to expand to over 430 additional ports. Its installation will accommodate continued growth for the practice, particularly in the areas of personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
Last year LA&C, which employs over 140 staff, recovered over £7million in compensation for clients in Wales. Ian Hopkins, Managing Partner of Leo Abse & Cohen said of his firm's five-figure investment in telecommunications: "We are pleased to be able to utilise the services of a locally based company to provide us with a leading edge solution to our communications needs.
With rising case loads and staff numbers we need to expand in order to handle increased traffic and this new system will help us to further improve our services to clients.' Commenting Dean Stewart, Sales Director who co-founded Pinnacle Telecom in 1989, said: "Any customer facing organisation needs effective communication systems.
Today's technology enables smaller companies gain the benefits of integrated telecommunications previously only available to larger companies. Leo Abse will also gain the advantages of a system which is future proof, enabling them to move into areas such as computer telephony in the medium term."
