How XPPS Works, Managed Print Services, Xerox Services from The Pinnacle Group in South Wales, UK

Using tried and tested technology that has been continually upgraded  developed and upgraded over the last 10 years by Xerox, Pinnacle's MPS offering is centred around Xerox's XPPS toolset. By aligning ourselves with Xerox and the technology we as a partner would be able to provide automatic Meter Reading, Automatic Consumable Ordering and Automatic Service Calls. All these benefits are driven through Xerox Services Manager (XSM).

What is XSM?  

Quite simply, XSM is a Centralised device for supplies and incident management with service-level tracking. Which combining with Xerox Device Agent (XDA) allows us to connect to your devices and constantly monitor their status and provide you with a truly proactive service.

What is XDA?

The Xerox Device Agent (XDA) enables Xerox to monitor and assess output devices on your network and provides continuing asset management information.

Xerox Device Agent is a Microsoft Windows® device management client that uses Microsoft® SQL Server® CE Edition to provide automated device meter, supplies, and status retrieval and submission to Xerox Services Manager and proactive alert monitoring for automatic incident creation and problem resolution. Xerox Services Manager is a web-based application that provides a single point of management for your enterprise’s output devices, supplies and service related incidents to help you manage costs and increase device and user productivity.

XDA features a built-in alert detection system that can warn users when certain
conditions exist in monitored devices. It can:

Discover network-connected printers.
Monitor for status and alert conditions and notify via e-mail when they occur.

Xerox Report Manager (XRM)

XRM provides a single point for data analysis and reporting by aggregating data from the XDA and XSM, XRM helps reduce operational costs associated with generating and distributing reports.

With Pinnacle's MPS offering we will provide a quarterly report that outlines useful operational information including device uptime, machine usage, asset locations and more.
